49th Ressurection

[Oh, a zombie plague? Thanks, Mayfield! Theo here is a very, very talented nercomancer, and has been dying (no pun intended) for a chance like this. Mayfield isn't a very conducive place to exercise his gifts, and now it's provide for him tons of undead he can have complete control over.

On Sunday and Monday, Theo will be just messing around with the zombies. Making them do stupid stuff, seeing how far he can exercise his control over them, how much energy it takes, what he can do. Never let it be said that Theo was anything but a careful, thorough spellcaster. He takes it very seriously, and it pays.

He'll even be setting up a game with them. You will find him sitting at the high school baseball field, having the zombies playing a rousing game while he sits in the stands, controlling the spells, laughing and having a grand old time. His crows are with him, cawing cheers with him.]

C'mon! Just cuz you're dead doesn't mean you can't pitch better than that. What, afraid your arm might fall off? Put some elbow grease into it!

[Did I mention he's been drinking too? Though that might be obvious at this point.]

---

[By Tuesday and Wednesday though, Theo will be... degenerating. Slipping away. Simply put, the boy is crazy. Power and magic tends to quickly go to his head, and he goes overboard. That's how he got himself killed back home in the first place.

He'll be getting more sadistic with his toying, doing violent things with the infected people. Turning them on each other or people in the streets, running them off of buildings or into cars, using them as weapons against anyone who tries to stop him. He's crazy and dangerous. Coming after him at this point means you run the risk of being injured or killed. He's in his element here and is going to have as much fun as he can while it lasts!]

---

[As far as his not!family, as long as they stay inside, they're in the safest house in town. Theo warded the hell out of that house over a year ago against an attack just like this, and nothing undead that Theo doesn't want there won't be making it past the yard without being incinerated by the spell. Theo will return on occasion, though. He needs spell components, and the main one for control of the undead is human ashes. The smoke and the smell from the yard of 337 Brady Lane is a disturbing sign that something is up, if anyone cares to investigate.]

28th Resurrection

[LADIES AND GENTLEMAN OF MAYFIELD! How were you enjoying your night last night? You probably weren't. Things are pretty ugly in town. And Theo would have agreed.

The hazmats came knocking the door down, but Theo was ready for them. Initially he was afraid of anything happening to his house, that his magnificent collection of spell books be destroyed. Kay was staying down the street, and the rest of the house was currently droned. He had rigged up some pretty strong force spells to protect the house in case of an invasion. But when a huge swarm of hazmats came in, armed with flamethrowers, Theo knew the jig was up, and set the spells off. Mayfield fixes everything the next day, right? What's he got to lose?

There's a large explosion at 337 Brady Lane. Most of it is done with sheer force of gravity, blowing off doors and windows; the fires that the hazmats set go with it, flames shooting out all openings for a moment before getting snuffed out from the force. The windows of the surrounding houses will rattle and maybe break, or have things knocked off shelves, nearby trees will snap. Theo's dead, but so is every hazmat inside. The house is in shambles.

Imagine Theo's disappointment when he wakes up the next morning when he wakes up to a house STILL in shambles. His precious library is ruined. After having what pretty much boils down to a tantrum inside, Theo can be found sitting on the curb outside his house, covered in soot, smoking a cigarette and looking mighty displeased.]

27th Resurrection

[Theo Crawford is not worried about a damned thing. The Soviet runaway has kept his nose out of their home, and so far, the same can be said for Grady and the hazmats. During the last few days he's been seen around the yard of his home on Brady Lane, with spellbooks and components, jars and bottles of all different materials, reinforcing the defensive spells he set up ages ago. Anything he didn't want in his house wasn't getting in, as far as he was concerned. And if Mayfield's unwanted guests could somehow get past his securities, he was armed with an arsenal of explosive spells as well.

Part of him wanted Grady or a hazmat to show up. After all, if he could manage to kill them, maybe he could bring them back under his own command....

After he finishes his work around the yard, he sits on the porch with a few spells books, a glass of wine, and a grin on his face. Under his suitcoat he was hiding a knife too, in case he had to do things the old fashioned way. And out and about on the town, keeping an eye on the townsfolk and hazmats alike were his two crow familiars, who occasionally fly back to their master to report in what they find.

Feel free to approach him anytime!]

10th Resurrection - Always Be Prepared

[Why, is that Theo out enjoying this beautiful summer day in the garden?

Well, yes and no. He can be found poking around at the ground around his house, in the yard, near the fences. He's got with him a very old book, a knife, and a jar of something dark, thick and suspicious. He reads from the book, mumbling to himself through the cigarette in his mouth, occasionally drawing arcane symbols in the dirt with the knife after dipping it in the jar.

He stands up, looking at his work, frowning. The spell is far from complete, considering he still can't even cast magic, but that doesn't mean he can't be ready.

Later, he can be found roaming the town as usual, or at his job. Usually very pale and sickly-looking, Theo's actually started to gain some weight and get some color back, even the dark circles under his eyes beginning to fade a bit. He'd look even better if he stopped drinking and smoking so much, but it's still an improvement. After all, he's no longer sucking out his life to cast hideous, powerful spells lately.

When he's out on the street, he's looking for something. Inspecting, thinking, looking closely at other houses, and any secuirty measures they might have. He's amused to find out most don't have any reinforcements at all.

Feel free to stop/question/annoy/bug him at any point, or describe any sort of obvious security he might find~!]
