28th Resurrection
[LADIES AND GENTLEMAN OF MAYFIELD! How were you enjoying your night last night? You probably weren't. Things are pretty ugly in town. And Theo would have agreed.
The hazmats came knocking the door down, but Theo was ready for them. Initially he was afraid of anything happening to his house, that his magnificent collection of spell books be destroyed. Kay was staying down the street, and the rest of the house was currently droned. He had rigged up some pretty strong force spells to protect the house in case of an invasion. But when a huge swarm of hazmats came in, armed with flamethrowers, Theo knew the jig was up, and set the spells off. Mayfield fixes everything the next day, right? What's he got to lose?
There's a large explosion at 337 Brady Lane. Most of it is done with sheer force of gravity, blowing off doors and windows; the fires that the hazmats set go with it, flames shooting out all openings for a moment before getting snuffed out from the force. The windows of the surrounding houses will rattle and maybe break, or have things knocked off shelves, nearby trees will snap. Theo's dead, but so is every hazmat inside. The house is in shambles.
Imagine Theo's disappointment when he wakes up the next morning when he wakes up to a house STILL in shambles. His precious library is ruined. After having what pretty much boils down to a tantrum inside, Theo can be found sitting on the curb outside his house, covered in soot, smoking a cigarette and looking mighty displeased.]

When I say something like that, they look at me like I'm crazy.

Just means we should make sure we have no regrets here.

[Well, he doesn't look happy.]
...Though, I thought the house would be back as well.

As if Mayfield would be so kind. Besides, they weren't really our houses to begin with.

[Thanks Theo, you just reminded her she left all her drone research in her as of yet totally unburned house. Going inside didn't sound like a wonderful idea, but if she lost all her research...]

[Someone's a mite paranoid about his books.]
Besides, I figured the town would put the house back to normal. But I guess this is their idea of a goddamn punishment. I haven't even seen this damn Communist everyone is supposedly hiding!

Look, any damage to my house was always fixed by morning, alright?
[A-and maybe he was a little drunk at the time, okay?]
Who the hell are you, anyway.

Well they didn't get any other houses on this block, so you shouldn't have any problems.
