[What does Theo do when he's bored? He gets drunk! And he certainly gets drunk a lot. Today's no exception. You'll find him:

A) At the pub, at a table. Somehow, his two crow familiars have snuck their way in with him. One is sitting on his shoulder, chatting at him quietly. Theo talks aloud with it. The other is flapping from table to table, sitting on chairs and curiously looking at other patrons, eavesdropping on conversations. Occasionally he returns to his master and fills him in on any juicy tidbits he overheard. Feel free to annoy/talk to/attempt to shoo Theo and his feathery friends.

B)Outside, there's someone who's fallen over in a snowbank! Maybe it's outside your house or you're passing by, but there's Theo, stuck there like an upturned turtle. There's a dropped flask a few feet away, and the crows are sitting with him unsure of what to do. The braver one gently pecks at his knee. The other one is doing the crow version of laughter.]

Quiet! Shut up! 'Course I can get up. Just gimme a minute.

[It's not going to happen. So what will you do? You should probably point and laugh and leave him there, but you can try and help him if you want.]

[There's a pause. Theo doesn't move for a moment. The crows recognize you, and the one hops closer to you.]

Yes, Akane?

[His eyes are on the crow, and he watches it warily.] Um. Are you okay.

...There was just some ice, okay?

Do you... need some help getting up?

[Another pause. He doesn't want help, damnit.

But also he's tried to get up three times and failed. There's another pause before he answers.]


...Maybe.

[on the one hand maybe if he helps Theo up he will get on the man's good side

on the other hand Theo might break his arm

COURAGE AKANE

Slowly, he steps forward and offers Theo his hand.]

[Theo won't be breaking your arm. He's lucky if he weighs 130 pounds, and he's in no shape to cast spells. You've lucked out tonight!

Theo manages to get halfway sitting, frowning deeply, but he takes your hand.]

[Akane attempts to pull him up, looking more than a little scared.]

[He'll get to his feet, still pretty unsteady.]

Hnn. Thanks.

[steps back, resisting the urge to cower] Y-Yeah! Anytime! Er... will you be able to make it back home okay?

[He looks around. He's not sure where he is. He really doesn't want to go home, either, but he doesn't know where else to go.]

Yeah. I guess.


You headed back to the house?

Y... Yeah? I mean. Unless you don't want me to, in which case I'm totally fine with going somewhere else.

[He'll just end up in another pile of snow on another street otherwise.]

[Akane dutifully leads Theo back to the house, hoping the other man doesn't try to kill him in the meantime.]

H-Here we are. Do you need some water, or something...?

[He says nothing on the way home, but the crows do follow. One of them hops on Theo's shoulder.]

Nn. No. I'm good. ...Thanks, I guess.

[He's attempting to get up the stairs to flop into bed.]
