24th Resurrection - Tic Tic Boom
[Are you paying attention today, Mayfield? I hope so, or you might accidentally get blown up.
Theo's out on the town, holding an old and faded leather-bound book in one hand, and gesturing with the other. He has a flat expression while he mumbles some words in Greek, casting some spells. He's out today practicing some offensive magic spells, since Marisa was asking him with help on them the other day, he figures he should practice. He wasn't very strong with attack spells, but what else did he have to do in this boring town besides practice on things around town?
Mayfield, you're being treated to small explosions all over town. There's a rush of air and a spark, and things are goin' kaboom! Your car, your shrubs, lampposts, mail boxes, dog houses, whatever. But, his aim and his casting of such spells is a bit off... which might have to do with the fact that, as usual lately, he's a bit drunk.
What else has he got to do in all his boredom when half the people in town he used to talk to now avoid him like the plague, and one of the last people who did now seems droned permanently? It was weird enough having Shina's drone call him "Mr. Crawford", let alone seeing her acting so vapid and NOT drinking tea...
Want to stop him? Join in on the fun? He may not even acknowledge you, and really doesn't give a rat's ass if he gets droned.]

But what power.
Yet you blew up his mailbox.
Still, what a will it must be to control that power.
But don't do it on his property.]
Those with power should take care where they aim it.

How 'bout THAT, Wilhelm. 'M getting better. That was a good shot. I'm doing better than I was even a few hours ago.

Getting quite a bit of practice today, are we Theo?

Do you believe you could try them somewhere else, at the moment?

He shrugs.]
Actually I was hoping for some stronger results, but this is my first time using these spells. Makes me wonder why I waited so long though.
no subject
Didn't really take you for the type to go around indiscriminately breaking stuff, though.
no subject
Doesn't matter, does it? Everything you break just comes back in a few days. What're they gonna do, drone me? Big deal.

Good show!
[She's not being sarcastic, either.]

He turns to the sound of applause. When he sees it's Theta, he bows.]
I aim to please.
no subject
Show me another trick?
no subject
Why not?
[It'll be hard to top the car, and he didn't bring any components with him to cast bigger, more devestating spells. So, he'll settle for blowing up some drone kid's nearby red wagon. But he does it in such a way that it launches itself straight up into the air about ten feet.
He chuckles.]

But when a car explodes? Have some mad laughter and wild clapping. So impressive, Theo-papa, so cool.]
no subject
Ya like that?
no subject
Aaa ha ha ha ha-- Do it again! Come on!
no subject
[Reading from his book again, and with a few more gestures, Theo casts another spell. It's hard to top an exploding car, so this time he'll aim for the top of a tree. The whole thing shakes, leaves flying everywhere and some startled birds take flight.]

But cautiously, cautiously....her last impression of this place was that witches were not welcome here, and hell if she'll reveal herself so soon to a guy who just made a mailbox explode, because maybe he hates witches too. So instead it's time to play the "innocent schoolgirl" act- something she's very, very good at, because isn't that what she wishes she could honestly be?]
Hey, mister?
no subject
What.
no subject
You're the one who caused those explosions, right? Do you mind if I ask how you did it? I-I don't mean to be rude, I've just...never seen anything like that before.
no subject
He waggles the spell book up near his face.]

Until that car she's drawing closer to suddenly explodes.
She's fortunate enough to not be close enough to actually get hurt, but the surprise leads to her suddenly jumping back and searching for the cause.]

But he's getting really tired. He sits down on a nearby curb, lighting up yet another cigarette, and watches the burning car with a smirk.]

After being sure the newly-made fireball won't be exploding into a bigger fireball, the woman walks past it and will be headed right past Theo...a bit hurriedly, as well; she has a specific destination, rather than simply walking around, for once.]
