21st Resurrection - The Honeymoon Suite
[Hey Tlachtga, enjoy being woken up by the sound of your not!husband cursing a the locked door of the hotel you've just woken up in. He's also thrown his coat and tie accross the room, and there's a bouquet of flowers lying on the floor.]
Son of a BITCH! This goddamn town, I swear to God...!

The situation seems quite odd to her, though. Just the previous day she was in the house and she clearly remembers this, but now the two of them were now apparently in a different building altogether. She begins glancing around the room, wondering how exactly it was that they were brought here without consent let alone any kind of warning.]

Goddamnit. Them and their sick jokes. How long do they plan on keeping us in here?! [Paranoid guy is paranoid. He's wondering how long it is until something bad happens to them.
He looks to the minibar.]
Well at least there's that.

Since simply staying in here presently feels like it might be a bad idea, she'll offer a suggestion. He may have tried to open it, but...] Have you attempted to break the window yet...? [Was there even anything laying around that they could use to do that?]

[Theo grabs a metal lamp from an endtable, and hurls it at the window. It bounces off, and the lamp beaks.]
I wasn't expecting that to work.

And, apparently, the glass was unbreakable. This was proof to her that they really were trapped until whoever or whatever placed them here decided it was time to let them go. Her expression changes from slight confusion to annoyance.]

Well fuck it. I'm getting a drink. [He starts rummaging through the minibar.]
no subject
Would you mind it much...if I asked that you get a second, for me? [He's already over there, so it can't really hurt to ask.]
no subject
Finally.
[He pours you glass, but his definitely has more in it. Your not!hubby is on a fast train to alcoholism. Thanks, Mayfield!]
Here. This is actually half-decent compared to what they usual have in town. Must be a real friggin' special occasion then. I wonder if everyone else in town is locked up in here too.
no subject
What manner of occasion would involve locking people into rooms like this?
no subject
[He frowns at the thought of this, and takes a long drink of his wine.]
I wonder how long they plan to keep us in here until something happens.
no subject
I haven't the slightest idea of how long it may possibly be should we simply wait, but perhaps our captors expect something of us before they will allow us to leave...
no subject
It can't be something as obvious as that.
Can it?
no subject
Shall we opt for waiting first to see if anything will happen...?
no subject
[TIME FOR MORE WINE. It'll be gone soon enough.]
no subject
I would suspect that it is just for one night, then... [Unless Mayfield intended to let them starve or something, but she won't risk worsening Theo's mood by suggesting that.]
no subject
I wonder if everyone in town is forced into this. Everyone got those calls, right?
