21st Resurrection - The Honeymoon Suite

[Hey Tlachtga, enjoy being woken up by the sound of your not!husband cursing a the locked door of the hotel you've just woken up in. He's also thrown his coat and tie accross the room, and there's a bouquet of flowers lying on the floor.]

Son of a BITCH! This goddamn town, I swear to God...!

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-04 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Theo's reaction to being stuck in here isn't lost on Tlachtga, so for the moment she remains quiet as usual as to avoid causing further agitation.

The situation seems quite odd to her, though. Just the previous day she was in the house and she clearly remembers this, but now the two of them were now apparently in a different building altogether. She begins glancing around the room, wondering how exactly it was that they were brought here without consent let alone any kind of warning.]

[He tries the window, and of course, no luck there. He kicks the wall underneath it.]

Goddamnit. Them and their sick jokes. How long do they plan on keeping us in here?! [Paranoid guy is paranoid. He's wondering how long it is until something bad happens to them.

He looks to the minibar.]

Well at least there's that.

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-04 03:26 pm (UTC)(link)
[True, being stuck with no way out was...unsettling. His paranoia is understandable, and she suspects that something is going to happen as well; they couldn't have been dropped into this room for no reason at all.

Since simply staying in here presently feels like it might be a bad idea, she'll offer a suggestion. He may have tried to open it, but...]
Have you attempted to break the window yet...? [Was there even anything laying around that they could use to do that?]

[identity profile] sanctusdei.livejournal.com 2010-09-04 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Not yet. I only woke up about a minute before you did. Jesus, what did they put you in?! [He just noticed your lingerie.] It's always great to know they can do shit like this at any time. Fuck.

[Theo grabs a metal lamp from an endtable, and hurls it at the window. It bounces off, and the lamp beaks.]

I wasn't expecting that to work.

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-04 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[Tlachtga glances down for a moment as Theo speaks. What did they—oh. Awkward. She doesn't recall having anything like that.

And, apparently, the glass was unbreakable. This was proof to her that they really were trapped until whoever or whatever placed them here decided it was time to let them go. Her expression changes from slight confusion to annoyance.]

[identity profile] sanctusdei.livejournal.com 2010-09-04 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Great. I guess we wait here until whatever mind game of the month starts. I can't imagine that this is it. [He waves a hand, indicating the room as a whole.]

Well fuck it. I'm getting a drink. [He starts rummaging through the minibar.]

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-04 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[...Oh, why not. She doesn't drink often, but it isn't like there are too many other options for how to waste time while caged up like this.]

Would you mind it much...if I asked that you get a second, for me? [He's already over there, so it can't really hurt to ask.]

[identity profile] sanctusdei.livejournal.com 2010-09-05 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
i>[He manages to find what he wanted - a bottle of red wine.]

Finally.

[He pours you glass, but his definitely has more in it. Your not!hubby is on a fast train to alcoholism. Thanks, Mayfield!]

Here. This is actually half-decent compared to what they usual have in town. Must be a real friggin' special occasion then. I wonder if everyone else in town is locked up in here too.

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-05 12:50 am (UTC)(link)
[Not that she's arguing with this; there was a fair chance she wouldn't have all of it either way. She is a little surprised that he didn't object to the request, though, and will accept the glass with a small nod when he brings it over.]

What manner of occasion would involve locking people into rooms like this?

[identity profile] sanctusdei.livejournal.com 2010-09-05 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
Who can tell with this town. It's not something cliche like Valentine's Day, but I guess they've decided we need a of couple's retreat or something.

[He frowns at the thought of this, and takes a long drink of his wine.]

I wonder how long they plan to keep us in here until something happens.

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-05 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
[Until something happens. Could it be that Theo has unknowingly answered his own question?]

I haven't the slightest idea of how long it may possibly be should we simply wait, but perhaps our captors expect something of us before they will allow us to leave...

[identity profile] sanctusdei.livejournal.com 2010-09-05 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
[He chokes a bit on his drink.] You're not suggesting what I think you are, are you? Christ. [He grimaces. He's going need more booze if that was the case.]

It can't be something as obvious as that.

Can it?

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-05 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
It is difficult to say. I do agree that it seems far too obvious, however, and will admit that I am not thrilled by the idea myself...

Shall we opt for waiting first to see if anything will happen...?

[identity profile] sanctusdei.livejournal.com 2010-09-05 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
I guess. I wonder how they plan to keep us here then. There's some food, but it's only one meal. So it might not be as long as the weekend. Or so we can hope anyway.

[TIME FOR MORE WINE. It'll be gone soon enough.]

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
[Still on her first glass, and considering asking for a refill if she manages to finish it.]

I would suspect that it is just for one night, then... [Unless Mayfield intended to let them starve or something, but she won't risk worsening Theo's mood by suggesting that.]

[identity profile] sanctusdei.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[You can tell he's on the same track. He swirls the wine in his glass around for a moment, thinking.]

I wonder if everyone in town is forced into this. Everyone got those calls, right?

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)
I do not think I would be surprised if that were the case. [Tlachtga-speak for "I think so".]

[identity profile] sanctusdei.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
Then what about the kids? They can't be here too. And I highly doubt the town will leave anyone out of their little games.

[identity profile] hexbell.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
True, that would be...awkward. [And maybe a little disturbing.] Perhaps they would be trapped in a different manner, then... [They could ask Kay or Phantasma about it after they get sent back to the house, she thinks.]
