33rd Resurrection

[Theo wakes up the next day back to normal after his adventures of being 8 years old again. He also remembers being helped by a friendly boy with a familiar Brooklyn accent, and another little blonde girl with an English accent. Who now, in retrospect, were very familiar.

Weird.

Even weirder was waking up to a new person in the bed with him. The day before Theo would have been missing from the house completely, but here he is again. He checks the portraits, and sees they've changed to include a pretty woman about his own age into them. Great. Not feeling like dealing with this, he's going to try to slide out of bed carefully to make a phone call.]

Exactly what the hell happened yesterday? I know I wasn't the only one who got... aged backwards? What the hell even was that? Just Mayfield being goddamn annoying again?

Something happened like a few months ago. Though some people got older too. But I mostly mean stupid crap like that. Though, that was pretty tame compared to what they sometimes do.

Hnn. Theo. You have nothing to be sorry for, Mayfield brings people in and out of here all the time.

They love to randomly murder people, burn down houses, torture people... so turning us into kids is pretty tame in comparison.

Not much you can do. People try to fight back but it never gets anywhere.

[Considering Nina just woke up here yesterday, and that she met Theo all of 2 minutes ago, he can tell *something* is definitely up here. But Theo is anything but trusting, unfortunately. He considers Nina's words a moment, and nods.]

A lot of people in Mayfield are dangerous. There's all kinds here that you have no idea about. What makes him so dangerous?

I've been killed here several times and been in enough fights that very little in this town bothers me. [You've made him more curious about Johan than anything.] If he tries anything against me, I'll take care of him.
