33rd Resurrection

[Theo wakes up the next day back to normal after his adventures of being 8 years old again. He also remembers being helped by a friendly boy with a familiar Brooklyn accent, and another little blonde girl with an English accent. Who now, in retrospect, were very familiar.

Weird.

Even weirder was waking up to a new person in the bed with him. The day before Theo would have been missing from the house completely, but here he is again. He checks the portraits, and sees they've changed to include a pretty woman about his own age into them. Great. Not feeling like dealing with this, he's going to try to slide out of bed carefully to make a phone call.]

Exactly what the hell happened yesterday? I know I wasn't the only one who got... aged backwards? What the hell even was that? Just Mayfield being goddamn annoying again?

Hnn. True. But I suppose this place would be weird to kids out of its time. When I was that age, this place was over 20 years ahead of my time.

Mm, this place was like science fiction to me. Fifteen years ago it was the nineties for me, but nothing was like this even in the fifties.

At least it's over now. Strange though, that it seems to have only happened to a few people, not everyone.

Who knows with this place. Someone probably got bored and thought doing this would be funny.

I'd know I'd probably do it if it were me in charge. Well, actually I'd like to think I'd be a bit more creative.

I'm sure I'd think of something good. I mean, they've pulled the same shtick just a few months ago. They're losing their touch.

Now I want to know, though. If you had the power to torment our fellow inmates here...what would you do~?

I used to be a necromancer, Theta. That alone should give you a few ideas.

Ah ah ah, that's making me do the thinking. I can think of plenty of things.

The zombie apocalypse, perhaps, or tinkering with the town's concept of death...but those are my ideas~

Hnn. Actually since the town fixes most of the carnage anyone causes in a day or two. I have made zombies, and it lasted all of an hour before... it was over.

Oh well that's a total let-down.

Tell me about it. It's most of the reason why I'm so fucking bored here!

I wonder if necromancy and ergaleomancy are compatible...

An interesting thought. Whatever we did probably wouldn't last more than a day, but it couldn't hurt to try.

It would certainly be worth it~. The last clank I built lasted several days--until it was destroyed by one of our fellow inmates....

No one ever lets you have fun here, do they. Well Mayfield won't let things be dead for long, but we can try to set something up. Anything to pass the time, really.

Maybe if you start with something that isn't entirely dead? I mean, I realise that that somewhat violates the idea, but what about using flesh from someone that isn't dead yet and therefore won't be regenerating in the morning?
