[Look out below, Mayfield! There's something being dropped on you. It's small and light, made of wood... why look, it's a chess piece. It might have been dropped right on you or nearby you from above, by a large black crow. It sits on a phone wire, cawing. Does it sound just a little bit like laughter?

Elsewhere around town, Theo can be found searching for the pieces, grumbling to himself. A different crow is sitting on his shoulder, occasionally hopping or flying nearby to help look. Theo's talking to it.]

No, go over there. Higher! You're a bird, don't you have better eyes than people? He's taken almost all the pieces. Just know when I see him next time, I'm gonna wring his neck.

[They stumble across a piece every once in while, but didn't you just get hit with a chess a few minutes ago?]

[[Please just specify if you're approaching the first crow - he can talk to people - or approaching Theo and the other bird!]]

[[Aaron shifts back down to a regular coyote.

Standing up, he paws at the chess piece to move it out of the bushes and knock it towards where the crow is at.]]

[The crow sees it, hopping back and forth a bit excitedly. He doesn't trustthis random coyote, so he tentatively steps forward, watching him, making sure he doesn't make any false movements.]

[[The Coyote backs up slowly and lays down. Just watching and resting his head on the ground.]]

and then snags the piece! Deimos flies up to a nearby fence, looking proud.]

[[Sits up and barks cheerfully. Way to go bird!]]

[The bird looks around, piece in its mouth, not sure what to do now.

So he tosses the piece back down at Aaron, and looks expectant. Let's play again!]

[[Aaron is not a dog.

That said, Aaron picks up the piece with his teeth again. Waves it in the air for the crow then runs again!]]

[Hurray! This merry game of chase will go on as long as Aaron lets it.]

[[He eventually gets tired and will let the piece down. Giving a bark at the crow before heading off. Time to go home and change back.]]
