46th Resurrection
[Wrestling with Stage 4 all day, Theo finally makes it to the phone. He can't take it anymore. He has to tell someone, and he's in a house full of drones now. He's got to get it off his chest.
An unfiltered call is placed. To cope with this, Theo has been drinking like a fish all day, and his voice is slurred but surprisingly steady.]
I'm a necromancer and a mass murderer. I raised up several graveyard's worth of corpses and let them loose on my city with the most powerful spell I could manage. It was stronger than even I could imagine, and ran out of control. They slaughtered people in the streets, who then rose up themselves to continue on their path of destruction.
While it happened, I watched, and I laughed. I was dying from the amount of life and energy it had taken from me to cast, but I didn't care. And it was all to make one man suffer. To make him realize that ignoring me for so long had its price.
I was caught by the FBI a few hours later. Instead of being brought to justice, an agent executed me on the spot. I deserved it. I deserved it and...
and I'm sorry I did it. Over a thousand people died. One of them was my father. If you don't believe me, I have the newspaper to prove it. Mayfield sent it to me ages ago.
[There's a pause, and Theo makes some frustrated noises before cursing and hanging up.]
